After diving into the world of esthetics and skincare, Melanie’s passions and interests began to evolve. The ability to influence the body via touch became real and important. Why stop at the skin? The muscles and fascia need love too!
It was during her adult life, when recovering from a challenging athletic injury, that she fully embraced the power of massage, bodywork, and the nature of healing from injury.
Armed with this new information, a personal mission was born. She enrolled in a 2 year massage therapy program (North Country Community College). She excelled while in the program, and is thrilled to now offer deeply therapeutic massage to her clients.
Dr. Drew / Dr. Rose and Melanie work collaboratively to unlock the true health potential of their patients/clients. Chiropractic and massage are like peanut butter and jelly, they just go better together.

Melanie’s passion for skincare came to her while the sun’s fiery rays beat down on her skin. Living and working aboard a ship on the Chesapeake Bay (as an Environmental Educator) concerns of the sun’s lasting impact on skin constantly rolled through her mind. Questions like, ‘How can someone protect their skin from elemental damage? Is sun damage really reversible?’
Enter “elemental skincare.”
Melanie needed to learn more, and enrolled in the Advanced Medical & Spa Aesthetics Program at the Academy of Massage and Bodywork (Bear, DE). She graduated, and attainted licensure in 2014. With humble beginnings as a make-up artist for a local Fashion Show, her expertise and experience have only blossomed from there. She is now an authority on Organic Skincare, Make-Up Applications, Full Face / Body Waxing, and all things esthetics.
